When you think of social networking you think of things like MySace and Twitter. You can email people and send IM's when your friends are online. Habbo is like that but a little more personal. Habbo allows you to make your own little character and explore the chat world like you would in an MMORPG. However, this virtual world is just for meeting new people and chatting. It gives a whole new meaning to the world of networking.
If you like hands on talking to someone this is as close as it gets Internet wise. You can walk you pixel man or woman up to anyone and start chatting. Adding people you like to friends and getting away from the strange ones. Its different and a little difficult at first to figure out put you will get it.
I was just on Habbo, creating my own character, SlayerDevi. I think that it is an interesting way to communicate and meet new people just watch out for the strange ones. If I had to rate it 1 to 10 I would give it a 4. It was not bad and was different from everything else. It was a low rating to me because it did not stand out and I will most likely not use it again.
